Well heres my take on the Samsung FP-T5084. I had a lot of questions unanswered by reviews so I will try to answer them as good as I can for future purchasers. I have had the Samsung FP-T5084 for about a month and I think its amazing. I had an hd t.v before this one and it just blew it away, I seen alot of people say that standard def is terrible on Samsung FP-T5084 but in all honesty I dont think its bad at all it is by no means hd but deffinetly tollerable. I have time warner cable and someone said that you cant get a hd box with HDMI thats not true, yes time warner sucks but still you can get one. I have an xbox 360 and it also looks fantastic. As far as the settings go I have it on dynamic wich looks beautiful I have read in reviews that dynamic will damage your t.v, then someone told me they wouldnt have that setting if it was gonna do that so I gave it a shot no problems what so ever yet with burn in imaging. I actually fell asleep with a dvd in the simsons movie on an upscaling dvd player and thank god no burn in. I am very cautious concerning that but yet seems to not be a problem. and that dvd has just one screen with no movement if you have ever seen it but anyways, I have done alot of homework on this and many others I looked at lcd and plasma and was on the fence. This is what made my decision I read that lcd is really good up to 42″ and if you were going to buy anything bigger you should go with plasma and im glad I did. I dont know how good a 50″ lcd would be but it sure seems not possible to get a better picture than what I got. And about amazon and the delivery by eagle I have seen mixed reviews but both were fantastic in the whole process I had bought the Samsung FP-T5084 for 2,199 it has dropped a few times to a final 1,899 and they have been willing to refund the dropped price several times with no hassal Thanks amazon wonderful buisness. As far as the delivery went they estimated it to be 10 days I think but it was here in 4, eagle came in dropped it off hooked it up took the garbage away and made sure it worked how can you beat that for free shipping so pat on the back to eagle. Well I know this review is extremely long but I hope it helps.
