Samsung i760 Review:

The Samsung SCH-i760 is powered by the Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system for a familiar office experience and the ability to read and edit in applications such as Word or Excel as well as review Powerpoint presentations. You can also receive Outlook email, update your contacts and calendar, and stay securely connected with your office via Wireless Sync or ActiveSync. You’ll be productive wherever you roam thanks to the integrated Wi-Fi connectivity for use at wireless hotspots and access to Verizon’s BroadbandAccess Connect service. Styled for performance, the Samsung SCH-i760 features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard on the side and a stylus for quick and easy navigation on the large 2.8-inch touchscreen. Other Samsung SCH-i760’s features include a 1.3-megapixel camera/camcorder with flash, Bluetooth connectivity with stereo music streaming, MicroSD memory expansion, and speakerphone.

Verizon Service Options
With support for the EV-DO high-speed data standard, you’ll enjoy fast access to the Internet and Verizon’s multimedia services (additional charges applicable), with average download speeds ranging from 400 to 700 Kbps and peak rates up to 2 Mbps. Samsung SCH-i760 is compatible with most of Verizon services.

Samsung SCH-i760 Main Features
The successor to Samsung SCH-i760 PDA phone, the Samsung i760 continues its predecessor’s slide-out full QWERTY keyboard–but now it slides out to the side and provides a larger typing area. The Samsung i760’s numeric keypad also offers a unique design, with the navigation scroll wheel placed at the bottom left (with soft keys placed above) and the numeric keys tilted at an angle on the right side. The large 2.8-inch touchscreen has a 240 x 320-pixel resolution with support for 65K colors, and it offers portrait and landscape orientation. The Samsung i760’s screen also features up to 17 lines of dynamically-sized text and adjustable backlight settings.

Samsung SCH-i760 phone provides Bluetooth version 2.0 wireless connectivity, and includes profiles for mono and stereo headset, handsfree, serial port, dial-up networking, object push, file transfer, basic print, phonebook access and human interface device. With the A2DP Bluetooth profile, you can stream your music to a pair of compatible Bluetooth stereo headphones. You can connect your laptop (either via Bluetooth or wired USB) and enjoy dial-up networking–surf the Internet, send email, and access files from a server. Additionally, Samsung SCH-i760 comes with integrated Wi-Fi connectivity (802.11b/g) for seamless movement between your corporate and home WLANs and open wireless hotspots.

Samsung SCH-i760 loaded with a full range of Microsoft applications, incoluding Microsoft Office Mobile editions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, MSN Messenger Mobile, Internet Explorer Mobile, and Windows Media Player 10 (for MP3/WMA digital audio playback and viewing of downloaded and streaming videos. Samsung SCH-i760 also embedded with Picsel Viewer software, which supports a variety of file types–MS Office, Text, PDF, PNG and HTML–providing access to business-critical information in a seamless and graphically rich environment.
