I had tried everything, and than found Sony Sound Forge. Sony Sound Forge Version 7.0 has more features than Sony Sound Forge 6.0, and records my old LP’s and Cassettes flawlessly. Sony Sound Forge has enough filters to make even my oldest Beatle albums sound fantastic. Easy to use program also can be used to edit movie soundtracks. Very easy to use, it is invaluable if you want to turn albums into cd’s and make them sound like they are brand new. In my opinion, the best feature is that you edit and e.q. on the fly so you can hear the changes as they happen; a feature not included on many editors. Simply the best I’ve used!
