Toshiba DVR650 Review:

The Toshiba DVR-650 Multi-Drive DVD recorder is designed to provide the greatest flexibility in recording and playback by supporting DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R and DVD+RW recordable disc formats. I just got my Toshiba DVR650 today. Toshiba DVR-650 was very easy to install. I did a quick DVD record from the TV and went fine. I have satellite so I could not program any channels. I do have to go through the DVD tuner and when I turn the turner off, I loose the signal. Not really a problem. I just have to leave the tuner on and then change the channels from the satellite receiver. The only thing I thought was odd is that it did not have a TV-DVD button to change from the DVD/VCR to the TV. I just upgraded to this Toshiba DVR650 from a GO-Video dvd/vcr recorder which constantly froze up. Loved it when it worked but just couldn’t take having to restart the dvd right in the middle of a movie. Toshiba DVR650 looks like it might be a good system. Toshiba DVR650 has all the toys I was hoping for. I didn’t see any problems working the remote and the manual seems to be easy to follow. Toshiba DVR650 has to be better than the Go-Video one which was refurbished. NEVER BUY REFURBISHED unless it’s local and you can return it easily. If you do, get an extended warranty, you’ll need it.
